A man recently revealed in a Reddit photo his 2-year-old son spotted what the toddler thought was a “turtle” that turned out to be an alligator in a sewer outside of a Jacksonville, Florida restaurant.
“My 2-year-old son looked down into the sewer outside the restaurant and said ‘turtle’ not quite,” the photo was captioned.
According to Newsweek, the photo was originally posted in the “Unexpected” subreddit but has since been taken down as it did not meet the page’s rules that posts must be gifs or videos. Still, before it was removed, the photo received 10,100 upvotes.
Though the 2-year-old’s father Joseph Brenner shared the photo with Newsweek and you can view it here.
Brenner also shared a video where he says, “Yo, look at this in the sewer outside of Cantina. There is a ginormous alligator and it is alive as hell.” His son can also be heard saying, “Hello Mr. Alligator!”
